So far I have 'Parvum etiam Potens' but Latin is so tough with cases and whatnot

Christine, since you are female, I think you should say parva nihilominus potens or parva attamen potens. (parva is the form for a female.) Both nihilominus and attamen are based on Cicero, and carry the force that you intend here. You're small, but still you are powerful.

If you want to use the one you started with, change it just a bit: parva etiam potens.

Other words for might: magna
praepotens
valida
validissima

Actually, I think I like parva attamen magna the best. It fits you.

As with any language, there is more than one way to say something in Latin. Many of the choices you have been given in the other answers have something to recommend them. So choose the one you like the best, without worry.

Enjoy!

That's close.

First question is what is the thing you're talking about? In Latin, adjectives (like small) must agree with the nouns they modify. You have three choices with 'small': parvus (masculine), parva (feminine), and parvum (neuter). The class the noun falls in in Latin would determine which one to use. With 'potens', you're OK in nominative case (which this is). It has the same form for all three genders.

For 'yet', 'sed' might be a better word. So you would have:

Parvum/parvus/parva sed potens

Parvus is probably the best choice for 'small'. For 'mighty', you could also use;

Validus = strong, powerful; valid (use same ending as parv-)
Fortis = strong, powerful, mighty, vigorous (like potens - no change in ending.)

When I was in JCL, we used "Parvus sed potens."
