The devil does not control hell. God sustains all existance, even the devil. You can look at it this way. Heaven and Hell are the same place - fiery, and we are like mirrors. The fire is God's love for us. We as mirrors have marks and imperfections on ourselves because of sin. When God's fiery love hits the mirror of a holy and purified person, the love/fire is reflected back. When this fire/love hits the areas of sin, however, it burns. Someone in hell would have no reflective surface. Those in purgatory would have both, but the fire would cleanse the imperfect parts, and those in heaven would have all reflective surface.
God bless

Or, suppose Satan is seriously into S&M...and he wants to get off by punishing all the sinners in hell...
No better gig for a serious sadist than that!
No, Hun, the truth is that there is no such place as "hell" as most people believe in it. The word translated "hell" in the Bible should actually read "grave".
In the end, death (which we already know is the last enemy to be destroyed) AND "hell" are BOTH tossed into "the lake of fire"...
Rev 20:13 And the sea gave up the dead which were in it; and death and hell delivered up the dead which were in them: and they were judged every man according to their works.
Rev 20:14 And death and hell were cast into the lake of fire. This is the second death.
The payment for sin is death...but the gift of God is eternal life.
It really is as simple as that.

Perhaps it would be wise to see what the Bible actually says hell will be like before you try to entice people to go there. It wont' be fun. Hell will be a place without the presence of God at all. Even on earth now, we have God here with us. All the love and good stuff come from him.

Entertainment is using the five senses that we have. You lose these senses when you die. After death (heaven or hell) these sensations are absent. There is just awareness. No pain. No physical pleasure. Just being. So it does not matter, we all go to the same place. Drinks, Drugs, sex, anger, etc and the need for them are all shed when you die. The conception of 'heaven' or 'hell' is also shed when you die.

I can't believe how much time you spent in thinking up this question...You know nothing is for free! Having all you ever wanted at your finger tips and knowing that when you left earth you were not going to take any thing with you... The devil would be right there telling you how much you need to buy what you want...That my friend is truly HELL!!! =( I would rather be at peace knowing that I already did evil on earth and was forgiven enough to enter Heaven...That would be worth it... =)

Hell is not a 'fun place'. Hell is not the domain over which Satan rules, but the prison in which he, and the fallen angels who followed him, will be incarcerated for eternity.
It is, according to Jesus (God Himself in human form), a lake of fire where the torment of those sent there is endless, and there is no rest either during the day or the night. No 'partying with your mates', no 'swinging parties', just endless pain.
But you needn't suffer that, although every human on the planet deserves it. Why needn't you suffer that fate? 'For God so loved the WORLD (that means everyone) that He gave His only-begotten Son; that whosoever believeth in Him should not perish (in hell) but have everlasting life (with God in heaven).' (John 3:16).
Those who imagine hell will be a party are merely laughing in the face of God -- itself a damning indictment of their attitude to God's offer of reconciliation, and holding the blood of Christ as worth nothing. The greatest thing anyone can say to God, and for themselves, is 'Not my will, but Thy will be done'. The most terrifying thing any person will ever hear is God saying to them: 'Not My will, but thy will be done'.
All people are in rebellion against God, including Christians (I fail God far more often than I please Him, explaining why we can never earn heaven), but He decided to pay the price for our sins on our behalf. We only need to believe Jesus' claims for Himself, accept what the Bible says about mankind's inability to pay the price, and sincerely ask Jesus to forgive our sins and take us as we are. If we do this, and sincere, then we are saved: eternally. Unconditionally. Undeservedly.
I made that decision 20 years ago, and left a life of drunkenness and womanising behind me, aged 25. I have one regret: that I hadn't become a Christian at least ten years earlier.
Don't swallow the lie, take Christ as your God Lord and Saviour now, while you still have that option.
Make bless all who truly seek Him.

On the Last Day there's going to be such a traffic jam trying to get through the Pearly Gates that I'll go straight to the other place and join my mates!
Maybe if I get there early enough I'll be able to torment all those sanctimonious people who thought they were so righteous but are now denied entry to Heaven.

heaven and hell does not exist heaven is in the living body of the human being, so is hell. you decide how you want to feel; where you want to be. God is a God of the living, when you are out of body, meaning dead, you have no emotion, you can not think, you can not burn in hell. Jesus said that the kingdom of heaven is within the person,it is not a pie to go eat in the sky when you die.this is life, heaven and hell.the promise of some heaven after life is a myth please christians read your bible and stop listening to false priests that are teaching this nonsense on a sunday. take your bible and read and let the holy spirit lead you,not fallible men ot did someone tear out the last page of your bible, or glued it together read revelations 21 no hell for eternity verse8

Don't want to go to heaven, it will be full of different denominations of xtians arguing. "My faith is better than yours." "I love jesus more than you." Etc. They do it now so it won't change then. By the way Hell is of the Norse religion, not xtianity. Hell is a dark barren place where the souls of those who were neither brave or evil go. It is ruled by Hela, hence the name Hel. But I am nit picking now! If it was the xtian hell then yeah I'd go there. At least I could be with my friends and family, most of whom are not xtian and 'doomed' to go to hell.
