I would rather cook a steak over my Bic lighter than cook it in the microwave!

Nope , Microwaves will cook from the inside out and unevenly. They also tend to suck out moisture thus leaving meats tough and rubbery. The saran wrap will give it a steamy plastic taste. If you're looking for good and quick I advise frying up some butter onion and garlic, set aside then turn up heat on fry pan to sear both sides of steak. This gives it a "crust" that will hold in juices. Decrease heat to medium (ish), add the previously cooked onion and garlic. Pop on a lid (or foil) for a few minutes and you should be set. Micro the potatoes while doing the steak and you should get a solid meat and potato dinner.

Absolutely NOT, Steaks come out like crap in the microwave, if anyone tells you different they are incorrect...

The single food that cooks perfectly in the microwave...
Baked Potatoes, I don't cook them any other way..

On Another note...
The idea that Microwaves cook from the inside out is completely UNTRUE..

Why ruin a stek in the microwave? Just get out a pan and fry it or broil it.
