I agree, lovely isn't it? And for those who say he did reveal himself, we only have a book to prove so. A book written decades after the fact and was highly edited by Constantine's Nicean Council in 325 as a way of twising things to suit their wants.
If I as a parent were to say to my child, bend to my will, worship me for I created you or you will suffer an eternal damnation of pain. Would I called a wonderful parent who loved my child or petty and evil?

As ALL people have sinned against God so ALL deserve to go to hell.

I wonder sometimes why God has bothered to offer the chance of salvation.

However He has done just that.

He offers ALL the opportunity to "Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ and thou shalt be saved".....Acts 16 v31

However it is by faith that Christians believe and to answer the second part of your question, if God showed himself in a way that all will believe, then it would not be faith.

Of course God has shown himself in his creation, however a lot of folks have said in their hearts "there is no God" and thereby attribute God`s creation to a theory (evolution) which has more holes in it than a colander.

If only it were that simple. The bible, however, indicates otherwise. For example, even though he spoke directly to God, Cain "went out from the presence of Jehovah" (Genesis 4:16). The many miracles that God performed for the Israelites as they escaped Egypt wasn't enough to stop some of them from repeated grumblings and rebellions. Even "the demons believe and shudder" (James 2:19). So it is not merely knowledge of God's existence that saves us, but our acknowledgment that we are unable to save ourselves and therefore need His grace.

Hell fire is a church teaching not a bible teaching.

He will show himself in a way everyone will believe, but Satan believes and what good has it done him.

He has made Himself clear to everybody. People have made a willful choice not to believe.

Romans 1:28 "And since they did not see fit to acknowledge God, God gave them up to a debased mind to do what ought not to be done."

Not believing in guns won't change the fact that there's a gun to one's head.

that is one way of looking at it.
people are given a chance, its up to you,I know I would certainly rather believe and go to heaven ,rather than hell, because it is for eternity.

God gave mankind many chances... the majority of mankind continued to reject Him... God gave mankind one last chance... The Way to return to Him... He will not give any more.... it is your choice... come to Him in The Way He prescribes... or... be eternaly seperated from Him.... the latter is NOT a good choice.
