Wouldn't sex organs indicate, well, sex and reproduction (and thereby also implying a finite lifespan)? Who does God have sex with, mrs. God? Without reproduction, what is the point of reproductive organs? Of gender? Did God have a mom and dad?

Can I call you "hypno-sicko" from now on?

In answer to your question, I don't think God has a physical body, therefore he doesn't have any organs. I also think he is genderless but is identified with the male pronoun because it was easier to relate to in the day and time.

I personally refer to God as male with much chagrin, but it's what most people these days recognize and I don't feel like ranting every time I talk about him.

It is entirely possible at one time.

God certainly has technology, a flaming sword held by an Angel to guard the tree of life. Why didn't got just make it vanish or put up a force field.

It takes 6 days to make a world, not instantly.

God is not a magician and thus seems to have inherent limitaions of the envornment he created at least.

Now, we come to the big question. Why would MAN create a GOD with limitations.

If you're MAN and you're going to create a GOD, it would the wisest move to make so it that God has NO limtations.

Why would Man intentionally created a limited God.

If you want to control people, you don't make a God with obvious limitations.

All the evidence contained in Scripture agrees that God revealed Himself to mankind in a male form, this does not however mean that there is no female aspect to God. He made mankind in His image... HIS IMAGE. If He did not have a female aspect to Him how could He create a female in His image?

"And God said, Let Us make mankind in Our image, after Our likeness: and let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over the cattle, and over all the earth, and over every creeping thing that creepeth upon the earth." -Genesis 1:26

He revealed Himself in the way He did, because it would have complicated His mission to save mankind from their sins (and the consequences that come with that) to have people refer to Him as both or see Him as both or reveal "Himself" to some as female and to others as male... it would complicate things and confuse people and would not have been very efficient. The reason I believe a male form was chosen was because that is what people could recieve the best. Male domination had become prevalent in the world, so if God revealed Himself in the physical form (im referring to Jesus) as female, His mission and message would have been even harder for people to accept than it was. God exhibits all the characteristics of personhood: God has power to act according to will, He has a physical presence, and brings things to life physically and spiritually, with His life force... or breath (His life-giving soul). These are three things, just as mankind is... God communicates, has relationships, and God’s personal actions are evidenced throughout Scripture, but His mission is not to physically reproduce and therefore I do not believe that is what Jesus did when He came to earth, as some have said (although it would not change my mind about Him if He did)...

You may also consider that in the Hebrew language, all words have gender. They're either male or female.. the Hebrew word YWEH happens to be both masculine and feminine.

However, the sex organs are not needed when you are in your spiritual form. They are only needed either for earthly identification, sexual experience or to make physical reproduction possible.

Hinduism talks about many male Gods, having wives and children. Is that believable for you?

There are many males who are celebate, would you say that their organs are worthless? There are priests and holy men from all religions who abstain from sex.

Christians believe that God created the world, and the place where he lives - heaven, is completely different from life on earth. Heaven is for most parts a mystery even for those who believe, but I believe that sex would have to be absent in heaven, unless we believe that we have the same wife/gf in heaven. (Muslims, however have a different view on this!)

God is a spirit and spirits don't have human bodies.

God designed man with reproductive organs for the purpose of reproduction.

Were are you getting your evidence from? Can you please show me where?

I get mine from the Word of God - the bible and it tells me that God is a spirit.

God bless you.
Good question and good to see you are seeking even if you are angry with God or want to cause hurt or trouble.

What a silly question to think that sex organs are only for reproduction. I had been using mine for urinating years before I found another use for it. You forget, man decided to label it a reproductive organ not god.

Such hubris you humans possess.

if you truly know anything about history the entire bible babble is steaming stack of rotten balogney...

Just the forensics that have been done are proof of lie upon lie, the twisting of truth, burying of truth and steaming piles of out and out UNtruth.. But there is so much other proof that is quite contrary...

God has got a dick just because it's convenient, since women are half humans in the christian-jewish point of view.

God is male, but his creator forgot to make him a help-meet. Then God figured out the whole rib trick when he in turn made humans.

Lack of a goddess caused him a lot of sexual frustration, and that explains a lot of his Old Testament behavior. Then he met Mary, and you know how that went, and getting laid really mellowed him out, and that's why he's a lot more laid-back in the New Testament.

Male character, or male physique?

The character is that of one who plants seeds, in fertile ground. That is masculine.

The physique is that of Jesus, who by all accounts was male. He focused on the character issues (spirit), and talked of rebirth to a man who questioned the meaning of 'rebirth'. Rather parabolic answer...
