I was told this is the correct spelling for Avedis in Armenian
Աւետիս
However, is that Eastern or Western Armenian? Or is it the same?
Also, how do you say nice to see you in Western Armenian.
Thank you.

I am 100% Armenian and Աւետիս is used in the capital of Armenia. That's the language that most of the Armenians use. But the easter and western doesn't matter because it is almost the same except a little accent in talking which makes the writing different.
Nice to see you - urax em kez tenalov, but we don't use that in Armenia that much.

I can't write Armenian script easily on this computer, but - yes - it looks OK to me. As you have written it, it would be pronounced [avedis] in W. Armenian and [awetis] in E. Armenian.
