Whenever God is slow to answer our prayers, what we believe about God is revealed. Do we change our plans and move in a different direction when pressure mounts? Or do we continue on the path God has directed for us?
Has God called you to stand for a cause bigger than yourself? You will have opposition to His call; sometimes it even comes from those in your own camp. But if God has called you, then you can be sure He will make a way. He has already opened the way before you. But you must walk in faith, joined with Him to take the land.

...Be strong and courageous. Do not be terrified; do not be discouraged, for the Lord your God will be with you wherever you go (Joshua 1:9).

Moses and Aaron fell facedown in front of the whole Israelite assembly gathered there. Joshua son of Nun and Caleb son of Jephunneh, who were among those who had explored the land, tore their clothes and said to the entire Israelite assembly, "The land we passed through and explored is exceedingly good. If the Lord is pleased with us, He will lead us into that land, a land flowing with milk and honey, and will give it to us. Only do not rebel against the Lord. And do not be afraid of the people of the land, because we will swallow them up. Their protection is gone, but the Lord is with us. Do not be afraid of them." But the whole assembly talked about stoning them. Then the glory of the Lord appeared at the Tent of Meeting to all the Israelites (Numbers 14:5-10). Those who grumbled did not enter the Promised Land. Only Joshua and Caleb and a new generation saw the fulfillment of God's promise.

Yes, of course: honesty in the face of social pressure and financial pressure is never popular! Lots of business owner and managers would rather not hear the truth, and woe to the bearer of bad news. But the government is not likely to be sympathetic when I am caught doing something illegal in the name of my company! So I must turn in reports and see the scowl on the manager's face...and be ostracized by my co-workers.

Is God ever slow to answer prayers?

If God does not answer do we change our plans?

Jesus said nothing at the time of his Crucifixion!

Do we really have to speak?

God told Jeremiah "Do not look at their faces!" Jeremiah chapter 1. We often doubt the ablity to be used by God. Exodus 4. God said "Who have made man's mouth?"

God always calls us to something greater than ourselves. Why because we can not do anything without him!
It is he that gets the glory out of it.

Opposition and oppression will come and these are the times we know God is working it out for us.

Joshua 1:4-8. Let not the book of the law depart out of our sight but we must meditate in it day and night. So we will be able to prove what is the perfect will of God. For in so doing. We do prosper and have good success. What God has planned no one can change it. Jeremiah 29:11. We do not fear. God gives us a vision and he will make it plain.

Much before religions were born, there was a civilisation that lived in India, which followed " Eternal Traditions of Living." The warriors who entered this rigion, mostly from north-west,
started calling these inhabitants as Hindus,as they crossed river Sindhu.Nowhere in the scriptures of this civilisation were found the words "Hindu".In no epics,or literature, were found the words. They were Humans who welcomed all who wanted to live with them. They worshipped animals, trees and
all the nature.THE NEW ENTRANTS DID NOT FOLLOW THEM but TRIED TO ENFORCE THEIR WAY OF LIVING
on them. This is something that is not taken up by many.
