If the whole world was dying, and you knew that your child was the cure... Would you sacrifice him for the sake of the WHOLE WORLD?

If YES, Why?
If you said YES, How would you react if when your son's life has been taken, and everyone is healed... you leave the Hospital and everyone acts like you did absolutely NOTHING for them? They show NO appreciation? NO gratitude? They don't even acknowledge your son's life and/or death? They don't even believe that he existed and if He did, there was no way that he saved them all? But you know the truth... What would you do? How would you feel? What would be your reactions?

If NO, Why?
If you said NO, please explain how you would feel knowing that you had the cure. And you did nothing about it? That you saved one life over billions? What would make you think that that is ok? What would be your explination?

Excellent question and so well put....
I wouldn't of course want a whole lot of attention about it because it would remind me of what I lost.

But God is reminded of what he gains - a family who loves him up in heaven...and God is not all as emotional as we humans are.... he knows of temporal things and eternal, therefore knowing that Jesus's suffering would be temporal so we could have eternal blessing, that is just genius.

Absolutely not, and Spirit would never ask me to do that in the first place. I take it you don't have children....

By the way, would he come back in three days if I said "Yes"?

No.

first of all, I've already buried a child. I would never do such a thing willingly. Only a very, very sick person would do that.

Secondly, your scenario is impossible.
One sacrifice can never cure a world, thus it is unnecessary.

Clearly you are hoping to make a connection to your obvious xtianity here.
As usual, when applied to reality, it doesn't work.

The bigger question is, What if I decided that I should kill as many people in the world as possible, and the only thing that would stop me is if someone would kill my child first, then I would let everyone off the hook?

I'm guessing you would lock me up in an asylum, and rightfully so.

yes, because sometimes you have to make sacrifices for the whole world. nut Again, if you know there is GOD it God DOES EXist, you know that God won't let it happens.

In your story, I(being god) would be the cause of the earth dying in the first place.

...and what if you were the one responsible for killing the world in the first place. Does that change anything?
