Floods, droughts, heat, cold, hurricanes, no hurricanes, all can be blamed on "Global Warming". Even your acne can be blamed on global warming.

To prove something is caused by global warming is another matter.

If you have that in your area, global warming increases it. Like if you have alot of hurricanes in the summer, you have more with global warming. There's more rain and less snow. The snow melts faster and floods. People aren't accustomed to the heat and get sick. We can adapt to all of these things if we wanted to by moving inland, getting AC's, creating better flood control and water collection and storage facilities, not turning off people's utilities during the hottest months as well as the coldest months, etc. but people would rather make this political and deny what's happening.

Warming and cooling on earth are cyclical. usually, neither will finished its cycle in a people life time. We would have, as human sort, intensified (or hindered) this technique. provided that there is more desirable technologies right this moment (as adverse to a hundred and fifty years previous) "we" think of that this is predictable. it extremely is subjective, at suitable. If "international warming" (brought about with the aid of people)is the reason in the back of flooding and drought, taking precautions now won't harm---the ameliorations won't influence you or I for the duration of our life. to assist "save" the Earth would help human beings that inhabit this place interior the destiny.

Before the global warming starts, all natural disasters are exists and its normal. But,when the global warming exists too,all the natural disaster would be worst. That's why we can only blame 50% to global warming.

No, global warming is not behind the floods the world is currently experiencing, it is caused by La-Nina, a phenomena caused by abnormally cool water in the Equatorial Pacific region. This was not forecast by climate experts. There will be more frequent La-Nina's in the future, the earth is cooling.

Contrary to popular belief heat does not drive weather systems, contrast in temperature from the surface relative to the upper atmosphere is what convection is all about. The cooler the troposphere is relative to the surface the more it will rain.

bob is right. there's no way to connect any specific instance of weather to climate change. anomalies are always possible.

having said that, climate change (including global warming) increases the likelihood and severity of these instances; very strong hurricanes will become even more likely, droughts more severe, and the storms that DO bring water to parched areas more likely to drop heavy rains than before.

the changes will vary according to geography; various models show local differences but the overall trend of climate change is toward more extreme weather more often.

Thats what they want you to believe!!! It's just the world changing because thats what it does, we don't stay the same forever and ever that just make since, people grow up right infant to adult, the world does as well and does through cycles just like us, cranky angry teenager to mature responsible adult, hot climate to cooler climate then back to hotter climate, over and over again. Natural disasters are just the effect of the ever changing climate.

The rich and powerful are behind global warming . They put more co2,s in the air in one day then the normal man puts in a month then they tell you to conserve and make you separate your trash for free for recycling and profit from that also . The system is good for the rich and hard on the poor . We are no more then modern day slaves

Both droughts and flood are effected by GW. A warmer atmosphere can hold much more water vapor. The precipitation of soil increases which leads to increased droughts. The water circulation occurs faster as the heat increases evaporation from predominately water. This leads to increased downfall, and the chance of flooding. In areas where there is much downfall the increased speed of the water cycle will increase the amount of rain. In areas with predominately droughts they will be increased as a response to the increased evaporation. This is in general, and there are other factors that affect it as well.

Here is a link from the major organ that deals with these issues. The IPCC was founded by the World Meteorological Organization (WMO) and the United Nations Environment Programme (UNEP) and it is open to all members of the UN and WMO. Raed P. 283.

Their fourth assessment report is also coming out soon.

Tomcat, the Troposphere is the lower atmosphere. And increased heat leads to more water vapor (it can contain more water, and the evaporation rate is greater.), which leads to increased downfall.

We know there have been severe droughts and floods long before industrial civilization. I have not seen any reliable statistics that say greater numbers of these events are happening now than before, or that they are more severe now. That is just speculation in my opinion. If you can find some hard facts, good luck!
