She always has faint, dark circles under her eyes. She is fair skinned like me, and gets plenty of sleep.

My son always looks like he has two black eyes! I asked his doctor about it and he said not to worry. He's just really pale, like me. ask your doc if you're concerned, but I thinkit's ok.

It's a possibility. You would know the answer better than anyone else, assuming you are the one feeding her. If you feel you have cause for concern you should discuss it with her pediatrician, who can give you some nutritional guidelines.

On the other hand, slightly dark circles under her eyes could be caused by other things. The most likely being that she has thin, fair skin (like you do). Circles under a toddler's eyes aren't in and of themselves a cause for concern, and since she always has them, chances are that she's a normal, healthy kid.

I'm not a doctor, but our pediatric allergist told us that faint dark circles under eyes can be a sign of allergies. Definitely check with your doctor.

It's probably normal if she is fair skinned, but I know a lack of iron can cause dark circles.
