The carnal Christian (one not baptized in the Holy Spirit) clings to this teaching hoping to escape the worst time that the Earth is about to see. We are called to love not our own lives even unto death. I tell you this - the same fire that is coming to test the Earth (unbelievers) is the same fire that purifies the Body of Christ. Do you have ears to hear what the Spirit is saying?

Paulie D - Scripture support - 1 Thess At the "LAST" trumpet the dead in Christ will rise and then those who are alive and "remain" will be caught up. Mathew 24 - Jesus is talking to believers.

God did not pull Noah out of tribulation but rather protected him through it.

The wrath that Christians are not appointed to is Hell. Jesus said in this World we would have tribulation.

The bible is very clear that there are people that are going to come to faith during the tribulation without a doubt. It is good to be prepared. Remember a few year ago in Columbine Colorado there was a young girl who was a believer, she was asked to deny Jesus and she refused and was killed. Not literally a trial but I would hope that if that time came I could say I would do the same. It is very easy to say we would but another if in that situation.

You are very confused and don't know what the Scriptures plainly say: that we will not all die; believers will be called up to heaven to be with God forever; this will happen right after the resurrection. If you challenged the pre-Trib position, then I'd take your statement seriously; if you had a mid-Trib position, that would be fine; some even have an end-of-Trib position. But to deny the Rapture altogether tells me you are Biblically ignorant.

But since you think you've figured it all out, then answer this: Jesus stated we couldn't know the date of His return; yet, a careful reading of Daniel 9 enables a person living during the Tribulation to know the exact day He'll return. So Jesus was OBVIOUSLY speaking about something other than His Second Coming in these verses. So to what event was He referring?

EDIT: Re: your comment to Paulie D -- the "last trump" of the Tribulation is NOT the same as the trump Paul mentions in 1 Thes. 4. Here's PROOF:

1. The trumpet of the church age is called the "trump of God" (1Thessalonians 4:16). The trumpet of Revelation is the trumpet of the seventh angel (Revelation 11:15).

2. The trumpet of the church age is singular. There is no mention of a series of trumpets. The trumpet of Revelation is the seventh of seven.

3. In 1Thessalonians 4, the trumpets calls the dead to life. The seventh trumpet of Revelation occurs after a resurrection occurs (Revelation 11:12).

4. The trumpet of the church age comes as a blessing. The trumpet of Revelation comes with judgment and is called the third woe (Revelation 11:14).

5. The trump of the church age sounds in "a moment, in the twinkling of an eye" (1Corinthians 15:52). The seventh trumpet of Revelation sounds for "days" (Revelation 10:7).

In all likelyhood, Paul's "trump" refers to the trumpet blast given when the Israelites were to leave camp. Read Numbers 10:1-10 for more information.

Exactly right ! There will be no rapture of the Christian believers and then "great tribulation" for the remaining unbelievers.

The poor humans in this world -- the so-called "down and out" are in much better average spiritual condition than the egotistical believers of "rapture before tribulation" -- the UP and OUTS ! This pre-millennial "rapture" or "left behind" belief is totally against the true Spirit of Jesus here now. See and believe John 16:7-16 and then John 12:31-32 and others.

Good News since AD30 -on ! We human faith-sons of God here who are believers in Jesus may experience personally a RAPTURE of being Spirit down-grasped by Jesus here, Who is always in Spirit with us since AD30, and instantly drawn up in soul into both Jesus Christ and God the Father-Infinite I AM on Paradise ... all of this Sacred experience can never be adequately put into mere human words. I am given this Spirit Birth (reBirth, Born Again) personally by Jesus Christ here May 24, AD1977 and forermore and Eternally. The immediate result is receiving the perfect Paradise peace of Jesus and also a keen, never diminishing desire to share God's and Jesus', One Spirit here, saving love and mercy with all persons ! You are now Eternally "Fired" by Jesus as his ambassador in God's Light and Eternal Life !

Some more Bible quotes that will further remove the terrible Theological and spiritual error of "rapture and then the tribulation of the world". Eph 3:21 "...world without end."
Also, in the Old Testament there are several places where we also read this same truth-fact: that our God has established this world and it abides forever. What does Jesus here in Spirit still tell us? "Fear not ! Be of good cheer ! Rejoice in Me forevermore !" "You are my Beloved son of God. Abide in Me."

You are right, the rapture is a lie, and the great deception that will cause even most of the christian world to worship antichrist, unwittingly. Our God is a consuming fire, but at the Second advent/Armageddon, the fire will not harm those who have the "seal" of God in their foreheads, that is, that know the truth, that antichrist comes FIRST, before Christ's return. All others carry the mark of the beast in their foreheads, meaning the lies that they believe in their heads. Where do you get fire purifying the Body of Christ from? Check out Shepherd's Chapel Ministry with Pastors Arnold and Dennis Murray, the only source of teaching God's Word as God intended it to be taught, leaving off all traditions of men and anything that is not directly from the Word. I was shocked at all the lies I had fallen for myself. It is a TV ministry/Church one hour daily that combines Bible study with questions and answers. I would have to say this ministry saved my eternal soul from perishing for all the lies I once believed.

Before God destroyed the Earth the righteous Noah and his family were spared. Before He destroyed Sodom and Gomarah Lot and his family were led out. God never leaves the righteous to be punished with the unrighteous so I believe the Rapture will be before the Tribulation. If I am wrong I will gladly endure til the end

God will pull His people out before the time of tribulation I believe.

And every true born again Christian posseses the Holy Spirit......at the point of salvation (Ephesians 1:13-14)
When you get saved, the Holy Spirit comes to live & dwell within you instantly.....not 3 months later because of some strange tongues.......that's heresy.

The cleansing fire spoken of in 1 Corinthians 3:9-15 is a metaphoric cleansing for the believers at the bema seat of Christ (the Christian judgment) That's where we receive our rewards. Salvation is not lost.....because it cannot be lost.

I have been baptized in the holy spirit and I still believe in a pre-millennial rapture. I really don't think the Bible is totally clear on when it will occur. However if you do read the Bible god has a history of taking his people out before the destruction and punishment begins. But if I have to go through the tribulation so be it. It is not going to change my beliefs.

The Gospel of John scares me to death. I don't know how the earth will end, I think we've gone a long way to begin the end. I don't spend anytime thinking about what I will do. All I know is that I cannot deny God as I have no need of faith, I know S/He exists and much about how much I am loved. That is the only thing I am sure of. The rest will simply happen, and I will deal as best I can if it happens in my lifetime.
Blessed Be

Markus, throughout Biblical history believers have been spared " tribulation", from Noah's ark, to Israel's crossing the Red Sea. Thessalonians makes it plain that we won't be here when it comes for the last time. If what you're saying is true, then there should be Scriptural support for it.
