Q1:How would you rate guinea pigs as pets?
Q2:Which are better: A plastic igloo or a wood nesting box?

guinea pig rock, i think so anyway.
i have six.
i think boys are more fun to watch but they can fight as i had to split 2 of mine up.
i have 2 brother boys together and they are fine.
my 2 girls are really friendly and laid back, they don't run around as much as my boys!
cause i have 4 different hutch i use both igloos and wooden one,
i don't think either is better than the other they are all fine.
i love all my Piggy's and i really do think they make the best pets...

I would rate them as 10 out of 10. They are very loving and are never a bit of trouble. They are excellent pets.
I think a wood nesting box is better. It is good for them to chew on. My guinea pigs have a wooden box with 2 openings and they like to run in one hole & out the other one to play.

Guinea Pigs are very gentle rodents and love people. I used a wooden box for mine and a tissue box with a hole in the side. Guinea Pigs are very good around little kids because my little sister loved to hold it. For the 7 years i had it i only have gotten bit twice.

1. I would rate them a 10!
2. Plastic Igloo with the tunnel part in the entrance cut off so they don't get stuck.

i have never had a guinea pig but i've had a ferret and 3 hamster and say, always go for the wood nesting box

on a scale of 1-10 (1 being bad 10 being exellent) i would say 9. they are so cute, dont bite, dont smell, like to be cuddled and dont take up to much space. as for the igloo mine seems to like the plastic one i got him. he can move it around to just where he wants it. if u are planning on getting one (which i asume u are) please do ur reaserch. i have linked u to some great websites below. good luck.

they are pretty good, but they smell sometimes.
and i would say wooden, because wood is more natural to a guinea pig thean plastic.
