My husband has awful panic attacks usually occuring in the middle of the night, he will just wake up and start moaning and pacing the floors and will go outside and walk the street like a crazy man. He refuses to go to the doctor and I don't know what to do for him. He freaks me out bad! What can I do to help him, it has been happening more and more often, almost daily now. The stress he is under is normal day to day stress and I'm at a loss, any suggestions??

He really needs to be diagnosed by a doctor. This sounds more like anxiety caused by stress than an actual panic attack, but I'm not a doctor.

Sorry, Really needs to see a doctor. I used to get bad panic attacks as well. Now, I take a nice little pill 3 times a day and I am fine

Although it seems that it may be more than just panic attack. The symptoms seem quite unusual for panic attacks.

I saw a show on TV where a lady had panic attacks, so she got a dog. This particular one was cleared to go to restaurants and to work with her (reccommended by a doctor), but since your husbands attacks are only at night, maybe a pet would work just as well.
You might also have him evaluated for ptsd (post traumatic stress disorder)
