Figure skates. Hockey skate blades are more rounded and actually have less blade in contact with the ice, they are designed for high speeds and very quick direction changes, where as the figure skate generally has a longer, flatter blade and offers more stability.

Most think hockey skates are easier because there are no picks to trip over and some people think figure skates are too tight. There are benefits to figure skates though like the blade has more contact with the ice. So its really your preference. I've worn figure skates since the first day I started skating and I have had no problem with them.

It's definantley way way waaay easier to skate in figure skating skates. The hockey ones are heavy and hard to balance in. So yea. I really hope this helps!!!

I grew up on figure skates so I find them easier and more comfortable. I find hockey skates make my ankles hurt.

im not sure cause i havent skated on hockey skates b4...( mb i shud try xD ) ok neway on hockey skated u cant trip over the toe pick so yea...but figure skates are pretty easy to skate on
