I haven't seen anyone win a million dollars on Millionaire since the show's first season. Why is that. Is the questions harder, is it a fluke or the show's first winners a gimmick to get people to watch the show.

the questions are harder, cuz they don't want to give away millions, but get millions from advertisers and hope millions watch (for ratings), so to answer your question yes it was a gimick...though they'll never admit it

i think it's coincidence. most people would just take what they have in hand rather than risk a large amount (i.e. 250K or so).

The questions are hard after a certain point, but they would have to be, wouldn't they? You need to EARN the money. Sometimes it's just a matter of what type of trivia the contestant knows. Something that's totally unknown to me may be something a contestant has studied or collects.

I don't think the show is "broke", its part of the Disney family!! I think they actually want someone to win once in a while, to get the audience excited!!

Who wants to be a Millionaire is probably broke so they make the questions a lot harder, so people won't get past say, the eighth round.

Its because each season they only let like one person just so people will watch.

They dont let people win all the time because the show they like to make fun of people
