Would you allow your child to live in a house where there was habitual, blatant pot smoking going on?

1- Inhaling 2nd hand smoke of any kind is very bad for one's health. So, NO! I wouldn't let my child live in a house where people smoked tobacco, marijuana, crack, banana peels, horse manure or anything else.

2- I would not allow my child to live in such an environment because marijuana is unjustifiably and illogically illegal. There's no reason for it being illegal, and I would smoke it if not for the associated legal risks involved.

No No No
I have nothing against smoking pot, I don't but to each his own. Now I would never let my child be in a home with that going on. Not because it's illegal, because it's just plain wrong. I don't even want my babies around people who are drinking in excess. I just think they'll be around that sillyness some day. Why advocate the use of drugs in front of immpressionable children. Not to mention the effects it could/can/will have on the child.
If I knew about it, I would report that person...for sure. They don't deserve to have a child in thier home.
That my opinion.

you may want to remove yourself from the situation for the childs sake----if the cops are called you will lose the child or at least have to fight for about a year and have to get a lawyer and still may lose the child---oh yeah and social services will just about live with you---get the child out of there---and by the way i have nothing against smoking pot if you are just doing yourself in but the child has a lot to lose and you have to be the adult

No. Not because of legal reasons but it is a very bad example for them. It is hard to tell them to "Just Say No" when you are smoking pot. Marijuana is a milder drug but it is a gateway to the heavier and more destructive ones. Also, if you know where to get pot it is not hard to get heroin. If you or anyone else is smoking that stuff around impressionable kids, then don't be surprised when they get into drug related problems...

I pretty much have no choice. My whole family smokes pot (except me - who strangely enough has never smoked it even once). I've made the rule though that there can be none INSIDE the house - they have to go outside to do it... and its not even my house to set the rules. I still live with my parents and my two older brothers still live here too. I dont have money yet to move out with my daughter (who's 9 months old). I'm working though and saving up. So, maybe one day.

So, for now - I have to.

depends on how old the child is, if it is 18 then there's nothing you can do. but if the kid is younger then no way on this green earth. but it's really up to the parents in this matter.

Definitely not, and I'd be putting a stop to it asap. If people really do have to get stoned with no regard to their children's safety and well being, then at least take it outdoors.

no i would not! they would get worse health because of it! nobody in my family does any drug. drugs are like the devil trying to give you and the other people in the house to die early. drugs can also take over you which is like the devil trying to take control over you.
