God created me as a gay man. The bravest thing I've ever done is come out and accepted myself completely, living with integrity, honesty and wholeness. It's not easy to stand up daily to those who say God hates me and I'm evil, degenerate, sick, demented, disgusting, abominable. But I do it. I feel it makes me more of a man to be who I am than it does to hide it.

Beats me, I don't like to risk my life on a whim. I would probably be considered a coward by most people's standards. I've done my fair share in my youthful years when I did not understand the dynamics of the situations, now I am more likely to calculate what is going on before making a snap decision.. I would do horrible in the Military.

Hmm... that's a good question. About five years ago, I lost my dad and my job within the same week. To make matters worse, my family began fighting over the inheritance like a pack of vicious dogs. The stress/grief was quite unbearable, so I decided to take action.
Within six weeks, I sold my house, packed up my son, moved across country, and basically started over. I walked away from the only life I ever knew and a tremendous amount of money, but I allowed myself and my son the time and space to grieve and heal.

I befriended a girl in High School whose friends were involved in drugs and violent acts.
We were slated to create a project together for a class that took several days. I invited her to come stay at my home that week - and her mom allowed it. When we finished - she cried.
She said she had never had a time in her life where she remembered having fun without drugs or alcohol being involved. She knew there was something different about me - and wanted to try and learn how to be like me. I told her it was because of Jesus - not me.
After the project ended - her previous friends grabbed her and threw her in a corner of a hall way and demanded she return to their circle. She told them no - that she wanted out. They threatened her severely - but a teacher came by, so they let her go.
All my life - to that point - I had allowed bullies to call me vile things, to steal from me, to destroy my property, to beat me up and threaten me - without ever lifting a hand in my own defence.
When Adele told me about her encounter with them, all those years of being attacked just welled up in me.
I walked up to the "leader" girl as she stood with her gang and she turned and saw the look on my face - and immediately stepped behind the girl next to her.
I never took my eyes out of hers.
I told her to never again approach Adele - or she would have to deal with me.
She yelled back some vile threats - her compatriots were frozen in their tracks and silent.
I didn't yell.
I just calmly repeated what I said.
She and the other girls turned pale - and I walked away.
I believe in turning the other cheek.
I've lived it as much as I possibly could... but something snapped that day. It wasn't a fat little 4'6" me who instilled any fear in them... it had to be the Holy Spirit that bound them from that day.
They never bothered my new friend - or me - again.
ONLY God has that ability... not me.
Peace.

THAT'S A REALLY GOOD QUESTION! I'm not sure what it was. I've had a lot of brave moments, but one of the ones that I remember well was telling the guy I like that I was wiccan/pagan. I never thought I'd get the courage to do that

Which war story do you want to hear? I have two years worth and the scars and medals to prove it.
I have to say this is a ridiculous question.
