Does anyone know of a rescue organization or breeder in the U.S. that have Irish Wolfhounds to buy or adopt?

Try Gentle Giant Rescue---they have big dog breeds that they rescue and put up for adoption or check online for an Irish Wolfhound rescue

It's great that you would like to rescue. I have 7 animals and they are ALL rescues.

as you can see through this link there are many irish wolfhound rescue groups in the u.s.

I don't know cause I'm in Ontario Canada BUT !!! Be very carefull when getting an older wolfhound. They are a one person and only one person dog and may not take to you or any of your family.

Do a search for IW Club of America. They will have a breeder referral and a rescue listing.
