well im still a virgin, and me and my boyfriend have been togther for 7 months, but are still going to wait before we go all the way, but i dont know what i should be ready for, a close friend said her first wasnt all that and was really painful, how was your first time? was it painful/good/bad???

Well my first time hurt quite a lot at first (the breaking the hymen) but after that felt a bit uncomfortable, than felt kinda good. It was romantic and we're still together (we waited 6 months and i was/am 18) It makes it easier if you've allready done stuff with him for quite a while before you actually have sex (a few months or so) e.g. fingering/handjobs. Well done for waiting this long and wanting to wait longer though. Make sure you get on birth control first though and if you have sex use a condom!

I am not really sure but i was in the situation as you really unsure about if he is the right guy or not all i can say is that make sure you are ready and are comfortable with your body.From what i hear yes it does hurt because when you are 18 yrs old or younger you bleed and stuff. On top of that your not sure if the opposite person has a STD but i would suggest that he gets checked our and maybe you too.Then wait a while until the right time and place and think then if you think it is right go for it if not just take things easy. I hope ur first time's special too. U only get one shot, and u'll remember it forever, so I hope u won't regret it. But to answer ur question. My first time was great. I've also heard that many women experience pain, or discomfort, and they bleed a bit, I also thought it would be quick and uneventful, so I was prepared to experience the worst.
But in my case, all i heard was wrong. There was no pain, no bleeding, no discomfort, and...wow! I didn't think first times could be like this, because i"d never heard of one being good for a girl. I'm glad I get to have a good memory.

first off u should wait.. 7 months is still early. becuase if you lose it to the wrong guy u'll regret it forever. (my cousin been thru it and always tells me she shoulda waited) when the right moment comes, you and your boyfriend will know. dont give in if he is pressuring you!! for me it didnt hurt and like the person before me wrote, it takes practice for great ssex. this is because you both learn together. but just wait because you dont want to end up like my cousin saying that he only stood with her long enuf to take it away and left that same day. horrible isnt it??

I didn't have any pain. Actually, of all the women I've talked to about this, I'm the only one of them who didn't at least feel some sort of pain. And it was horrible. It was awkward. Afterward my only thoughts were "That was it???" I was not impressed the first time.

You will only get one first time. There is no do overs. Make sure that you are ready. I married my first. But it took almost 16 years to get there

It didn't hurt for me, really. It was just awkward souly on the fact that it was the first time for both my boyfriend and I.
If I were you, wait. It can still be with your boyfriend that your dating right now, but keep waiting trust me.

relax, when you're ready you'll know (depending on your age)..and the first time usually is not that great...great sex takes lots of practice, and the ability to be comftorble with yourself and your sexuality, and the emotions that come with sex...that's why women start having greater sex in mid twenties and thirties as their confidence levels rise.

my first time was alright it didnt hurt that much for me, but all people are different, its gotta be right, if your thinking omomg its gonna hurt then it is but if you go with the flow and really wanna do it then it will be just right sorry cant be more help
