Ok. There's not enough information here to pinpoint a problem but you're missing the boat on either the eating plan or the exercise routine. In 5 weeks of proper eating and working out you should be seeing at least a 10 to 15 pound weight loss. You don't tell us about your diet so you need to drop those calories to no less than 1200 a day. This is the lowest limit you can eat and still lose a healthy 2 to 3 pounds a week. I like the workout routine but you need to switch to at least 5 to 6 days of cardio 30 to 40 minutes a day. The bc won't make any difference to your weight loss. Good luck! You're definitely on the right track! Just need a little tweaking here

Maybe, do you do cardio with your weight training? Your better to get some cardio in everyday and weights every day working different area's of your body or just working one muscle group a day. Try working out twice a day a couple of times a week or take one day a week and do a long workout, less intensity but longer like 2-3 hours. You could run outside, hike, biking. It sounds like your metabolism just needs a little kick. Also, with your diet you could try simple things like not eating after 7 p.m., cutting down on carbs (not cutting out). It could be the pill...not sure about that.

In order to lose weight you have to burn as many calories as you are eating. If the pill you are using slows carbs that could be a problem. Also, if you are only eating 3 meals a day they are probably larger than you need. Eat 5 small meals. Your training should be every other day. You can train and do cardio in the same day but work out every other day...your muscles need to rest in between. It helps in the weight loss.

You can do cardio 5 days a week at the same time keep up the weight training or core workouts every other day. The cardio helps burn the calories. Review for yourself what it means to eat right. Eating right means different things to different people. Just be sure you are getting a balanced diet with plenty of fruits and vegetables, and plenty of water (8-10 glasses) per day. Water helps keep the fat from sticking. Also remember muscle weighs more than fat. As for the effect of bc check with your health care provider as sometimes this can be a factor but your health care provider can help you with that.

I've lost 5 kilos in my first week. It's my 10th day and I have included salad with some protein (eg. egg/ lean chicken) as you suggested. After 4 years of trying, the fat is finally coming off. It truly feels like magic!
