in your opinion, what makes somebody socially awkward?
LIke, feeling that the person doesn't know how to act in public or around other people?

Inept Socially.... um... everyone is different and requires a certain amount of stability and guidance from someone close. If a person does not receive their required amount of criticism (good/bad), the person is left aimlessly to figure things out on his/her own. If the person doesn't get "it" by trial and error...that person just might stay in a pitiful state of existence the rest of his/her life.

Insecurity, which even the most confident people feel once in a while. It can make you doubt your instincts and question just about everything.
