yes, she could be pregnant. Really, there are so many kids having kids now that i have to say the chances seem higher than they were years ago. Since sex is apparently a part of your friends life she needs to go get on birth control right now, she also needs to use condoms because birth control doesn't prevent STD's and there are some nasty ones floating around.

There is definetly a chance. Her 3rd week after her period is typically when a woman starts ovulating, which means that they are more likely to get pregnant. Even just a little but of sperm, and even pre-sperm, can get a woman pregnant.

If your friends is scared about the possibility of getting pregnant, then go to the nearest health department. They can give her a pill to take which can help prevent a pregnancy from happening. The pill can be taken withint 24 hours after having sex, so you better hurry. Please tell your friend to use protection next time. Also, make it a note to get checked for an STD. Many times, a guy will have an STD, and not even know it because men typically dont show the signs of an STD as much as a girl does,

Um yeah. Of course. Discharge doesn't even need to happen internally to get impregnated. During the normal course of business enough can leak out to get eh job done. She also waited too long to address the situation. Sometimes there is a 'morning after' pill that she could have taken.

So in short... always use protection unless you are both ready to have a child. Good luck with all this and make sure your friend is a capable mother and support her however you can.

Of course there is a possibility she could be pregnant. She had unprotected sex. Depending on her beliefs, she can look into the "morning after" pill. Otherwise, she can take a pregnance test and get results only after she misses a period.
In the future, tell her to use a condom, visit a doctor and get a prescription for birth control, or better yet, do both!!!

Unfortunately, yes. That may be a very fertile time for her if she's 3 weeks post menses. It doesn't take much of "it" to make a baby.

Tell your friend that protection is a must. Not only for pregancy reasons, but to keep herself healthy. There are a lot of diseases out there that will be with her for the rest of her life if she catches one. It's way way too much to risk.

Hope everything works out well for your friend.

Sorry to tell you this, but there is a good chance of pregnancy. Women ovulate in the third week, so the risk of pregnancy is highest at that time. At this point, all you can do is wait it out and see if she gets her period next week. If not, she'll need to take a test.

There is always a chance. She needs to go to the local health department or planed parenthood in your area and get he morning after pill. Tell her to ask them about birth control too. In this day and age it still surprises me that girls who think they are old enough for sex seem to forget about protection.

First of all, she shouldn't be having unprotected sex if she's not wanting to get pregnant. PROTECTION. ALWAYS.

Second of all, you can get pregnant at any time during your cycle, INCLUDING during your period. Don't ever assume that because you're at a certain point that it can't happen - because it can.

Condoms. They work wonders. If he won't wear one, he's not worth it.

Yes she could - tell her to go to a local planned parenthood - they will geive her the Morning-After pill - but they have to give it to her no more than 48 hours after she had sex. Tell her to HURRY!
