My first thought was Alaska--we're having an unusually hot summer where I am, but if you're just switching sections for awhile how about Entertainment?
I'll miss you, but I know the feeling--I took an R&S vacation earlier this summer.

Go somewhere rational like the physical science or math section
You may also want to try hanging out with the rational guys that know how to build stuff in the Home &Garden section
try going to Do it Yourself or Maintance and Repair

Polls and Surveys. There's never anything too serious over there so it's just a bunch of fun and silliness. A great break from all the uber-seriousnss of R&S.

Go to the singles and dating section. Most of the questions there are extraordinarily superficial and repetitive and do not require much thought to answer. You could relax your brain there.
