George Bush is simply the worst in a long chain of U.S. administrations who have meddled in the Middle East since World War II. Prior to that, it was Britain doing it.

an example: Iran had a secular government with a democratically elected prime minister. They were becoming quite prosperous. In response to the will of the people, the PM was considering nationalizing his country's oil industry. England had a fit. We joined with them in Operation Ajax, overthrew the Iranian democracy and installed a puppet dictator.

And we wonder why anti-Western sentiment runs high in the region?

Because God commanded His Prophet Mohammad to liberate the masses from the tyrant rulers of Rome and Persia of those days. After they libeated the oppressed, Muslim established a just system in these countries. The masses were happy and converted as Muslims with their own free will. Muslims are not allowed by Quran to force any one to convert. They established greatest empire when west call their your same period as their 'DARK AGE'.
