Not just believe, but accept Jesus as your Lord and Savior!
Why? John 10:10 - so that you can have a full and abundant life!
I really didn't like myself or the way I behaved before I accepted Christ. I feel bad for my family - I was really mean spirited before. It's wonderful to know that I'm forgiven and God helps me to not be as much of a jerk. I have more love and joy and peace in my life now.
Why? Romans 6:23 - so that you can have the free gift of salvation. We can spend eternity in paradise. God made some great vacation spots on Earth and they are really awesome. Hawaii and Florida are two places I love. Heaven promises to be much better! 1 Corinthians 2:9 - No mind has even imagined how great it will be!
Why? Ephesians 2:10 - We were created to do good works that God prepared for us to do. Isn't it nice to have a purpose in life?
Why? The alternative of dying without forgiveness is not so nice. Revelation 20:5 - I wouldn't like to have my hand held over a candle for even an hour. How much worse to have my whole being in a lake of fire for eternity.

No one asked you to believe in God. For that matter even God didn't. Whether you believe in God or not you must be knowing that you should live a good life. Not hurt others. Not to do anything bad or something that might hurt others.
These are the basic principles of life taught to us by our family. This is what we expect of others towards us and vice versa.
If you believe in this then it means you believe in God too.
All religions preach the same things The God they describe is the same. Only the names are different - some know God by the name of Jesus while some call him Allah and so on. But what these Gods want us to do is the same. That is the above para.
If you follow and agree with the first para then you are involuntarily accepting God's words. If you are accepting God's words then you have accepted God too! If you have accepted God then what's the problem in openly accepting the fact that you believe in God?????!!!!!!!

Because if you reject God's plan of Salvation you will not spend eternity with Him in Heaven.
We do not have to believe God through blind faith. God told us through the Bible of two ways to begin to believe.
1) The Bible tells us about history, and two things it talks about is creation and the flood. Evolution says that man came millions of years after the dinosaurs, but the Bible says we lived together (the word dinosaur was not invented until 1884, and the original text of the Bible is much older, so it calls them Leviathan, Behemoth and dragons). There are a number of places around the world were there are human and dinosaur footprints in the same rock.
2) On a spiritual note, God promised to give people His Holy Spirit with power. Many people have this promise today (it is called the baptism of the Holy Ghost). They speak in unlearned tongues, and some have other gifts like prophecy, healing, miracles and others. Go to a Pentecostal or Apostolic church near you to see and feel God at work.

If you don't now believe in Jesus and thus God, you are still our erring or sinning Brother in the Family of God ! Jesus made you the same loving way that He made me and all other Christian Living Faith Believers ! None of us can ever run away from our loving Father-Son-Spirit GOD here and up in the higher Heavens ! You will soon see Him after physical death and then in his perfect loving Judgment session with you Personally and fully ! Or you may here now choose to seek God or Jesus or Spirit or Truth or Reality (same Reality; human words don't matter much) and you may be, if fully sincere and persevering, you may be Spirit-Born Eternal now in God and Jesus as One Spirit here upon and within us all !
I never yet have seen any real atheist or anti-Theist have the unspeakable Sacred Perfect Peace, Spirit Joy ! Joy !, and supernal and replete body -mind -soul -spirit -personality God-man unification. Atheists and immoral life-style humans even die much sooner here than they should --they live very short, confused, evil lives and seldom even have the drive to have beloved Children as more sons of God for our Father. What a waste of life ! What a darkness of soul ! Look at the many published statistics ! Pure Spirit-led living humans don't get AIDS, lung cancer from smoking, liver rot from too much drinking, permanent brain damage from many bad drugs, fears of being caught lying, cheating, killing, fear of dying, etc.
God and Jesus Christ here Both love you and me ! and Jesus is all Powerful to seek and to save all of the lost ! Allow Him/Them now to continue to do this super-conscious adjusting transformations of creating, with your consent !, a duplicate soul you that may survive eternally ! John 12:31-32 is fully true and beautiful and good. Have you ever wondered about what the meaning of life is? The answer is out there. You first need to know and believe in God and his son Jesus Christ, then through study and faith you will find it. We are here for a reason and our lives have a purpose far greater than most can even comprehend. The first thing you must do is try to have even a seed of faith, for trying is enough to open the door for Christ. The way to open the door is to get to know him by reading about his life and teachings in the New testament. Then you must try to talk to him, you do that with prayer, for the most part he will not answer you with a voice heard in your ears, but one heard in your thoughts and in your heart. This decision will determine where you will stay for eternity after you have passed this life.
Here is the famous scripture written out again:
"For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life" -John 3:16.
The ONLY way to heaven is your belief and faith in Jesus Christ. If you refuse, then your fate, unfortunately, will be in hell. Not my words, by the THE WORD.
But not only that, God gives you peace and joy and fills that void that people get who try to fill it with other things but never gets satisfied. He gives us hope and love and gets us through the most difficult circumstances. Just try it and see for yourself.

ok,,I don't think I can tell someone what to believe in...but study and talk to someone educated who can explain things to you...I realized from about the age of 9, that someone was watching over me...I believe it to be God,or a guardian angel,sent by God...and I have seen my guardian angel(twice)no I'm not crazy,but I thought I was.(lol).
I was raised in an abusive home,drinking,sinning,lying,stealing,sex,and I thought that was normal...I asked God to help me at the age of 9,and he immediately did..I was amazed,and made me a true believer.
I asked God later to send me a sign if he truly was real,I was in my teens then, and he did,a true miracle,at that moment a complete stranger walked up to me and asked me if I had been baptized! I think that person was an angel...I know that God is real and that I have to believe in him...because I don't believe this is all there is...I'm gonna sing in heaven someday!Just Ask God to come into your heart...all of your troubles will go away...bless ya'

Jesus said, "I am the Way, the Truth and the Life. No man comes to the Father but by Me."
So it depends on where you want to spend your eternity. With God or without Him.

How else do you explain the existence of evil?
How do you explain a massive universe such as this coming from a space the size of "." which would have been at almost infinite temperature, and would have collapsed in on itself like a black hole as soon as it exploded, the force would have had to been greater then that of light to escape the gravity of it?

Because He Is~
and He is Good and He loves you and will do you good ;
if you come to Him and seek Him with all your heart; you will have nothing but good the rest of your days~no matter what you face in life, He will go through it with you ~ He will be with you forever~
He IS LOVE
We love Him because He first loved us and gave Himself for us and was a propitiation for our sins
He IS and He is GOOD
Don't believe the negatives~ God is positive~when you become His child He will take care of you in every way
