you provided a VALUABLE service to someone that needed to entrust their child's safety and well-being to another! good job! and worth every penny!

Pretty high in price I think. Maybe if you were a bit older and had courses and the twins were special needs.
You can over price your self and end up with no sitting jobs.
Good luck.

Wow, that's really good babysitting rates! Hey, if the parents were happy to pay it, then obviously they thought you did a good job, and are willing to pay you decent wages so you will babysit for them again. If they're happy, and you are, there's nothing wrong with it, I say enjoy, 'cos not all parents will be that generous!

I don't know what the going rate is not but it sounds like you got a great deal! Some parents will pay you more than you ask, just them being nice. Enjoy the income!

It is a lot, but you were right to accept what you were given. The parents were just probably so happy you took such good care of their children.
Just don't expect the same amount for the same amount of hours all the time...
... but lucky you!

consider yourself lucky. maybe they think that a night out alone is worth $30. maybe next time they'll be out longer and still give you $30.

that sounds good to me! you probably got lucky and they were good for you since it was the first time you sat for them. after they get more used to you, i am sure they will start trying stuff with you and get into more trouble.

If they are giving you that kind of money, and they know that you did a good job, there's nothing unfair about it.
