I believe that when you die you are simply dead. The death of the body is the end of consciousness.

What the bible says:

Ecc. 9: 5,6 & 10 "dead are conscious of nothing at all.."

Ps. 146: 4 "His spirit goes out, he goes back to the ground, In that day his thoughts do perish."

Resurrection hope:

John 5: 28 & 29 "all those in the memorial tombs will come out.."

Acts 24: 15 "resurrection of the righteous and the unrighteous.."

Jesus gave a preview of what he will do in the future with Lazarus.

John 11: 11 "Lazarus our friend has gone to rest, but I am journeying there to awaken him from sleep."

verse 14 "Lazarus has died"

verse 43 & 44 "Lazarus come on out!" "The man that had been dead came out with his feet and hands bound with wrappings, and his countenance was bound about with a cloth. Jesus said to them: "Loose him and let him go."

You cease to exist, your brain stops, thinking stops, your emotions, love, hate, jealousy are all gone, just like the bible says at Ecclesiastes 9:5, 10.

There is hope, God promises to raise the dead to life again at Acts 24:15 and John 5:28-29. So at that time people will have a chance to REALLY learn the truth about God and be reunited with their dead loved ones.

There are many different ideas about what happens when a person dies. I will give you my belief. I believe in life after death. I believe that there is a Heaven and a Hell. One place is good, the other bad. To get to Heaven (the good place) you have to put you FAITH in and TRUST in Jesus, God's son. IF you don't, you don't get to go there. The other place is not so good.

Don't have a clue. Nor does anyone else for that matter. All we have are a bunch of different theories. You and everyone else including me, will find out when we die.

Your body decays, and usually gets buried or cremated. Your heirs get any estate you might leave. If you have no heirs, your estate goes to the state.

If you're asking if there's a life after death, nobody alive truly knows, and those that are already dead are pretty closed-mouth about it.

You get written up in one of God's books. Your spirit returns to God -- what that is may be read here:

Death is a sleep like state. The believers receive a resurrection when that time comes.

For the condition of the dead, read here:

If you have accepted Christ you are instantly in heaven, for "to be absent from the body is to be present with the Lord." Those who never accepted Christ are eternally separated from God.
