Philosophically that's a valid question. But scientifically it isn't really that valid.
If God exists outside of Time, which I can explain as a dimension, then God would be 'eternal' It's hard to imagine time not elapsing outside of this universe, but it quite probably could. For us, that reality would look like a picture, always the same, never changing.

Why is it when it comes to God, it is assumed he is made up? But when it comes to fictional characters with extremely long lives, people assume it to be real?
Science assumes time is circular. It wraps into itself. It also assumes some things exist outside of time. These are just theories, but scientific ones. Why is it so hard to accept science could be right in this case?
It is said time is a construct of the observer. As a victim of it, we see time as unavoidable. For a creature outside of time, it means nothing. A fruit fly lives it's entire life in 4 days. What do we look like to a fruit fly?

Okay I'm a christian and this is the hardest thing to believe...he was always there. Its so hard to wrap your mind around that thought, but no one created God, he was just there. That's what Christian's believe, and even then we still don't understand entirely, Christianity is based on faith!

I know you can't understand spiritual things, and being a disbeliever you can't under stand th Bible
You could go on endlessly who created the first.
God had no beginning or ending, He was always, and will be forever.
You be very careful what you say about God, don't Commit the unforgivable sin. Then you will be doomed for ever.

Before there was god, there was limitless nothing. This infinite nothingness we call the darkness. Darkness is an appropriate metaphor because there was no light, no material world, nothing. The mind of darkness (god) emerged from the darkness. Out of the darkness, the mind of darkness created the material world.
