I often get doubt. What would be the reason for creating the universe. There must be a purpose as I suppose. Answer please

we can't know god's plan, we are only human, it's like a puzzle, the more that is put together, the better we will see the whole picture. god has certain reasons as to why he creates what he does, our purpose in life is to serve the lord and be the light of the world, to spread the word of god to every corner of the earth, so all can hear his good news of salvation. but as for the whole universe, that doesn't really pertain to us at the time being, god will reveal what you need to know , when you need to know it. when you feel doubt, pray, pray, pray!!! god wants to hear our concerns and fears, he wants to know that we trust him to care for our needs, and that we love him, and that we are thankful for all he has blessed us with. god bless!!!!!!!!!!!!

To the first poster. The universe was not created? As the universe is known to exist something must have created it. Whether it be God or the big bang. I personally believe God did it.

The only purpose I can think of is "....for thou [God] hast created all things, and for thy pleasure they are and were created." (Rev.4:11). God did it for His own pleasure. And His pleasure is to give pleasure to His creatures.
If no one created it then there is no purpose. Inanimate things cannot devise plans and purposes.
