No, Only the chinese speak it natively. Plus the most populous country in the world in the next 50 years will be an English speaking one. English is one of the official languages of India. Chinese will displace other languages as the third language of choice (say, French, Spanish, Russian or Japanese), but all science research is conducted in English and all major commerce and communication across countries. That won't change overnight. China's economic success involves having huge numbers of people that work for very little money. You don't need to learn a second language to buy things, only to sell. The onus is currently on the Chinese to learn English, as they sell and we buy. If anything, the presence of China on the world stage is reinforcing the importance of English (because the Chinese are more likely to speak English than Spanish or Japanese). Plus the script is incredibly complicated compared to English.

Yes and most likely it IS going to remain the most prominent language for international trade and communication. Look at all the countries' top leaders in the world. Almost all of them are required to demonstrate a good proficiency in English so thatthey can attend international conferences and summit. Even if they aren't, they need to get interpreters to assist them. Learning English language is in fact one of the major policies of most countries, particularly in Asia, where the majority of people speaks a dozen different tongues but English.

No, it is the dominant global language. I'd be surprised if it stays that way for more than a hudred years, though (well, assuming a dead person can be surprised). My money's on Chinese next.
