2. Why are you a member of that religion? Why do you believe what you believe?
3. Is that church found in the Bible by its name, teaching, methods of worship and organization? If not, why not?
4. If your church and another church teaches things that contradict each other, how do you determine which one is correct?

Please allow me to answer my own questions:
I am a Christian, a member of the church of Christ.

I am a member of the Christian religion because it is the one taught in the Bible. I believe the Bible is the word of God because of the evidence it contains that could have only come from God. The Bible is supported by fulfilled prophecies, archeological discoveries, scientific foreknowledge (things people knew before science “discovered” them), the unity of the scriptures, and the fact that many of the writers were willing to suffer for the things they taught – something they would not do if it was just a hoax. Since the Bible is God’s word, we should follow the things it teaches! The Word of God, when planted in open and honest hearts, produces Christians – nothing more, nothing less, nothing else.

The church I attend can be found in the Bible by:
Name (Romans 16:16)

Methods of worship (singing – Colossians 3:16; Giving – 1 Corinthians 16:1-2; Praying – 1 Timothy 2:8; Preaching – Acts 20:7; and Taking the Lord’s Supper on the first day of the week – Acts 20:7)

Teaching – In doctrine, we try to speak where the Bible speaks, be silent where the Bible is silent, do Bible things in Bible ways, and call Bible things by Bible names. (See Colossians 3:17)

Organization – Independent congregations are overseen by an eldership in each congregation (Titus 1:5). Christ is the head of the church (Ephesians 1:22-23), therefore we have no “headquarters” on earth above the local congregation that meets to determine our doctrine. Instead, each congregation goes directly to the Bible to learn what should be taught and practiced.

If the things the church I attend teaches do not agree with the things another church teaches, I search the Scriptures to see which is true, if either is true. (Acts 17:11)

The Church of Christ is trying to restore the New Testament church in our communities. This goal is not finished, but it is a continual, ongoing process!

1. Christianity
2. My family has always been Christians , but they never forced me to believe their faith, so it was my decision. I believe because its really the only truth that's out there,, the only religion that has proof, that has answers that doesn't make everyone feel good ( if you understand me, you can always email me).
3.Its not a Bible name, but it does base its teaching sorta off of Paul.
4. My church is very careful to follow the Bible, other church's
( only some) will "follow " the Bible, but they pull stuff out of context to make them feel good about stuff. They change stuff having to do with sin, like sex outside of marriage, and try to say like, " Well, you were following your heart, God didn't think of that when he said not to do it." Stupid , I know, but just an example.
Because my church doesn't change what God said, I know that they are right. Besides, my church has alot of Bible Students who aren't afraid to ask about things we say.

2. I believe what I believe because true christian values are logical and a god cannot be proven or disproven
3. Yes, christian values were written down in the Bible
4. There are no contradictions in reality. Things may seem like they contradict, but that is only because man can only go by the little that he knows. Sometimes a best guess based on logic is all you can do.

Taoist.
Because as a Physicist and a human being, I've found that the teachings of Lao Tzu never expire, or haven't as of yet, and are completely compatible with what I know about the Universe, in fact they seem to illuminate what I know.
There is no Church.
Neither myself nor people who were more I Ching and Chuang Tzu followers would press any point of disagreement. We understand that the philosophy is open to interpretation.

1. i'm a confessional lutheran (LCMS).

2. there are higher standards of theological knowledge for the pastors in my church than most any church in america. there are too many reasons to list as to why i belong to that church, honestly.

3. no. no modern church is.

4. no church is completely right. all of them are right to a degree, but all of them are wrong to a degree. i've been to dozens of different churches, but i've never been to one that was completely accurate, according to scripture, since every single one of them were built by human hands, and their doctrines were compiled my human minds. Jesus warned us of this in the book of revelation. i simply found the one that i thought was closest to being scripturally accurate. that doesn't discount the other churches in any way.

2.I dont believe in religion I went to catolic school for 6 years and all I saw there was favoritism, thick headedness and alls they did was try and get the students to be exactly alike, yet favored the kids who were wealthy. In regards to our temple work and ordinances: "Verily I say unto you, Whatsoever ye shall bind on earth shall be bound in heaven: and whatsoever ye shall loose on earth shall be loosed in heaven." "Again I say unto you, That if two of you shall agree on earth as touching any thing that they shall cask, it shall be done for them of my Father which is in heaven."
