Toothpaste or tea tree oil - smother it!

LOL

Well, I don't know that it would be inappropriate, but it's up to you on whether you want to have the large pair of sunglasses on during your own wedding. Honestly, I doubt any spot you have on your face would be more noticable than a large pair of sunglasses.

It would help if you described the "spot". Is it like a pimple, a bump, a bruise, or just a really blotchy area? Is it red, pink, purple-ish, brownish, etc? Where is it on your face? What is your definition of "huge" (three inches in diameter on your forehead, or a large pimple on your chin?)

Because specifics, like the nature of and color of the "huge spot", your skin tone, etc. make a difference in remedies, I would suggest you visit a higher-end department store makeup counter and ask for a consultation. They would probably be able to help you get the right combination of concealers and makeup to camoflauge the spot, and show you how to apply it on your wedding day.

Either way, I would personally not use the sunglasses. They will be a lot more noticable (and odd) than any "huge spot on your face" would be. The only time I've seen a bride wear sunglasses was at my sister's wedding, and it was an outdoors wedding and the entire wedding party wore shades. It was a weird, funky thing that fit my sister and her husband, but if you walk down the aisle with a giant pair of sunglasses to hide a spot most people wouldn't notice anyway, I think you could end up regretting it later. I'm not normally one of those "do whatever you want because it's your day" kind of people, but you would more likely be drawing attention to your face in a negative way, when most people wouldn't probably have noticed it if you just let it alone or covered it with concealer. If it were me, I would probably regret it.

Wear a thick veil !! no seriously there are still a few days to go till Saturday and you could ask the pharmacist to give you some cream to help it clear
You can also get some makeup which will disguise the remains of the spot on Saturday . I would suggest that you do not wear dark glasses in the church !! it is not really appropriate
Have a great day .

What kind of spot is it? Do you mean a pimple/blemish?

No sunglasses!

If it is a pimple and it is a large swollen one that is sore to the touch try ice for a while that should help shrink it. Try filling the sink with hot water and with a towel over your head let the steam clean your pores. Finish with mild cleanser and warm/cool water.

You can also try over the counter acne treatment for the one spot. If all else fails find a good makeup to cover it up. You may want to find one that covers scars.

Also don't worry about the photos becuase you photographer should be able to erase any imperfections!

Stop stressing about it and don't touch your face!

Good luck!

I assume we're talking about a pimple here. Sorry, but I think wearing sunglasses is inappropriate. I've heard that putting toothpaste on a blemish works. Another tip (from the make-up artist I had at my wedding) is to soak a Q-tip with Visine and apply it to the pimple. It will make the redness go down. I think the biggest thing is to NOT PICK AT IT. That will make it more red and swollen.

I would advise not wearing sunglasses especially in a church, this may be seen as disrespectful. Dab TCP undiluted onto the spot every few hours, this will kill all the germs and you should be spot free in time for your wedding! Good luck on the big day!

What kind of "spot" is it? A pimple? Is it something a little concealer won't hide? Please don't wear your sunglasses in the church, I would consider that highly inappropriate! Can you give more details on the spot? I think that would be more helpful. Best of luck to you!

Sunglasses in church? No hun, that's only ever going to reming you that you had a huge spot on your wedding day, everytime you look at the wedding album.
Clinique have a blemics gel that I swear by, it goes on overnight and dries up the spot, it will be a memory by satuday. Have a great day.

get some hydrogen peroxide from the pharmacy. put a generous amount on the spot - it will sting like crazy! leave it to dry out. It will look terrible and crusty, oh well! Apply the peroxide repeatedly (at least 3 times a day) until Friday evening. DO NOT PICK AT THE SPOT during this drying out period. It should be so dried out by Friday night that the surface will come off and you will have nice new skin underneath and no spot.

You can't wear sunglasses! YOu will look silly. Try toothpaste- that dries out spots. Trust me, you will look more suspicious with big sunglasses on in church. Plenty of concealer should help too.

toothpaste dries out spots, go get a good concealer and foundation to cover any mark left don't pick the spot and ditch the glasses, stand tall and show the world that no matter what happens you still love the man you are marrying, this is your day and nothing can spoil it for you, have a great day it is for you anyway.
