Check out a book called "The Eat All Day Diet" that recommends three small meals and three small snacks per day. Be sure to eat something within an hour of waking.

The theory is that in times of famine your body is programmed to store fat. So if you only eat, say two meals per day, your body thinks there isn't enough food available.

If you eat healthy foods and snacks every few hours, then your brain believes that food is readily available and doesn't see the need to retain fat.

Also, eating early in the morning kick starts your metabolism to begin burning calories right away, and having a healthy snack in the evening after dinner keeps your metabolism running while you are asleep.

Since it's a med for low thyroid function then I would say it's not the right one for you. If you are checking your caloric intake, really watching what you eat and drink, exercising and taking this med then you should be seeing results. If the med is not the right one for your (say your body changes;women have crazy hormonal and chemical changes and the med isn't working anymore) then insist you try a new medication. Period. Barring that you are watching everything else you're doing, it seems the likely answer. Also, with your exercise routine, how often are you walking/swimming? Maybe you need a new routine that has more vigorous cardio and you should really have a strength training element in there (women really need it). You don't have to become muscle bound but you do want to increase your muscle mass as you get older so that your body burns energy more efficiently. The more muscle you have, the more calories you burn. Best to you.

Cleansing technology is relatively new and people don’t know the power of its success….The primary reason for obesity in this country is because of the toxins we ingest on a day to day basis
