Do I believe that it rained for 40 days and 40 nights, literally, and submerged the entire world in water up over the tallest mountains (Everest)? No, of course not.
Everest's peak is about 5 miles above sea level. To rain 5 miles of water in 40 days would be something like 625 feet of water every 24 hours -- or, 26 feet of water every hour - 26 FEET of water every hour -- or almost half a foot every minute!
Six inches of water every minute??????? for 40 days?????
Of COURSE that can't happen. And, that's not to mention the effect 5 miles deep, globally, of rainwater would have on the oceans. They'd be effectively desalinated, killing most sea life. Everything on the ocean floor would be killed under the crushing pressures, and all the marine life that survived on plants would die because all marine plants would die.
Then, of course, there would be the question of where an additional 5 miles of water, globally, would come from and where it would go afterward. There isn't that much water on the globe.
So, it's a symbolic story with a meaning in its symbolism. It's not literal.

I'm sure the Father who made the earth and stars so quickly could easily make this all happen too! If you think this was impossible, you are in for some big suprizes in the future! God says we ain't seen nothin' yet! All this is just a drop in the bucket for other marvelous things to come.

Every civilization has a history of a great flood. Whether Noah took all those animals, birds, reptiles, and bugs is debatable, but there is evidence of massive flooding.

I think it is just a fairy tale, almost a story about how anything is possible in life but I do not even believe that story.
