i recently bought a nikon coolpix L11 but when i insert the picture project or the user manual cd inside the cd drive nothing happens. no cd icon pops up on the screen as it should do. what can i do? i really need to print these pictures. it is quite important. is there any other way i could print them.
i would really appreciate the help. thank -u

Your CD drive may be broken. Put a music CD in the drive to make sure it's working.
If it is, you may be able to open the CD by locating it in "My Computer" and opening folders until you find the pictures.

1) Sounds like you need to re-install the driver for the Nikon. If that doesn't work, then use Windows Explorer to read the CD of the images. Assuming they are a standard format, like .jpg, then by double clicking on the image files, Windows will open your default software application to view/edit/print the .jpg images. 2) To change the application that opens by default go to Windows Explorer and change the default application used to open .jpg (or whatever format your files are in).
