I don't know much about kids but I know if he didn't like walking he would probably want to start crawling again. give him some time. He walked which is a good sign. If he had some sort of delay don't you think he wouldn't have walked in the first place. I didn't start walking until I was almost 2 years old. I turned out just fine. I am actually a very good walker.

I think it is normal, their legs tire easily until they are use to walking.
My daughter was a late walker and ended up having vision problems, now that she is older she has told us she sees double without her glasses, it is a wonder she ever walked to begin with.
She walked at 14 months and glasses at 18 months. And she crawled for the first 3 days after getting her glasses because everything looked so different. I am the one who figured it out, I cannot believe our pediatrician did not notice it her eyes are a +7.00.
I still feel guilty to this day, she has a hot temper and if she could not hold the book herself she would kick it out of my hands, at the time her sister was 3 1/2 and I got her in trouble for yet again kicking the book out of my hands. She got down got her own book (her face was red from crying) and put it smack on her face and it hit me like a brick, she could not see it if she was not holding it. I felt so bad, I was simply trying to read to both of them and this had gone on repeatedly, it also explained her temper and why she was such a mommies girl, she only liked me as a baby. She slept in them for the first week it was amazing to watch her rediscover everything.

Nothing wrong with that. No one says there is a set time that children should walk. As long as his other gross motor skills and fine motor skills are intact and he is progressing on par, i wouldn't worry too much. It isn't going to matter on his College Degree when he walked.
My grandson is going on 15 months and he still hasn't walked. My daughter is so concerned, but he is developing much quicker in other areas. I noticed that his verbal skills are way better than a normal 15 months child. Give and take, no matter what, I wouldn't let anyone con you into believing anything different about your son.

He did not forget, this is what usually happens. When he tries to crawl next time, help him on his feet, and try to follow up so he walks again.

Yes it is normal. You will have to help by forcing him to walk. Put things that he likes out of his reach so that he can only get it if he walks. My daughter only walked when she didn't think that crawling couldn't get her where she wanted to go. When they first start to walk they find on their own that crawling is easier and faster. It is up to you to make it easier for him to walk.

Congrats!

I still remember the day when our son walked. What a feeling.

Your son is totally normal. Each child develops in their own unique way.

Crawling is better. Its slow, quiet, cute and could keep fit. HEHE... If your kid walks, you need the chase him/she everywhere. If he started to walk at this age. I think is to slow. 8 to 13 months is the normal age.

Babies brains work by repitition. When they see things over an over the little joining electro thingys in their brains join to make a memory. Try reminding him by walking him holding his hands. Keep doing it for a few days and he will get it.
