I was told by my hair dresser mind you has been in the business for ever and is always up to date on styles.... that she has seen many bride's have a cute cut for many months before the wedding and come in a few weeks before or months and say chop it off I want something new.....She refuse's to do it!! Why you just having jitters and think you need to change you because you are planing and making every thing else look great so you think you need to change to. She said she it a couple of times and the brides always wish they hadn't! You want a change want a fresh start do it right after the wedding. Then you have a new husband, life and a new look to!! Plus you know when you look at your pictures you will be happy about them not thinking I wish I never did that. Best wishes and good luck. I hope I helped!!

if you've had your hair short recently and you are confident with it then you can defiantey find a really nice hair style, especially for a beach wedding.

but if you have any doubt in your mind, then DONT DO IT. I know personally it takes me a while to get used to my hair short (like a month) and up until that point i regret it. You can not put hair back on but you can always take it off.... Dont forget how many pictures you are going to be in this day, if you dont love your hair, you wont love your pictures

the main question i ask you is, what would make you more comfortable

Depending on how short you want it cut, I think the flip-up-layers in the back with side swept bangs are very casual-classy and would be perfect for your beach wedding. However, I must warn you. DO NOT, what ever you do, get your hair cut less than 2 weeks before the big day! For one, you want to be able to get used to your shorter strands and for the strands to get used to themselves. Also, if something happens and the beautician screws up, you want to be sure you have time to get something done about it. Getting it cut now would be the best idea. =D

Good luck!

Do you know how you look in short hair? I.e. have you had short hair before and liked it?

If you aren't sure, I'd wait till after the wedding to cut your hair short. That way you won't look at the photos thinking "I hate that do, I wish I kept it long".

If you are sure, go for it!.

I just saw a wedding wear the girl had short hair and instead of a veil she had a net hair accessory over her face with a strapples dress. It was amazing.

Here's 3 photos, tomkat--her hair is so great! The hardest part is finding the right hairdresser.

Her hair is not very short but maybe shoulder length. Maybe get it cut but nothing too drastic. First buy your headpiece.

my suggestion is go to the hairdressers and tell then, your thinkign of cutting your hair like this, but what options do you have for a wedding style with hair like that. they should be able to help you out. personally, I wouldnt cut it before the wedding though, just becuase yeah, you might look good with it short (so do I...I had it short of ra long time) but you might be disappointed on you wedding day is you cant to much with it (it was a pain on my wedding day...may hair was just below my chin and it took forever for them to do something with it...I was almost late for the wedding) I also dont encourage Katies hair cut either...it makes her look a lot older then she is and I dotn think thats a look most women want to go for.

I might wait until after the wedding to cut your hair off. You never know if there could be a mishap and your hair doesn't get cut exactly how you want it. At least if it is long and you get it cut a little you still have more to cut to cover the mistake.

I dont reccomend doing anything drastic to your appearance right before your wedding. You may not be happy with the results and you may not be happy with your appearance in all of your wedding photos. If you absolutely want to cut it, cut it now and give yourself time to get used to it. Then before the wedding, you can get it trimmed and re-styled.

Just my opinion. .

personally, i would say no. if you have long hair you can have it curled slightly wavey since you are having a beach wedding. the curly hair would look so pretty. have you thought about maybe adding chunky highlights or totally change your hair color? i am a sucker for long hair and i think it looks pretty on girls. i thought about cutting mine short too for my wedding and my finace put his foot down and said NO! what does your fiance think?

I've had mine both ways too... but our husband prefers it short... he never ever complains when I grow it very long, but is always all over themself w/the complements when I cut this off
