My daughter used my camera for a movie. When I turn the camera on now, the lens does not move in and out as usual and I get a "lens" message on my top display and then the camera shuts off. In viewing troubleshooting, it says that the zoom lever might have been moved during movie mode, however, I do not know how to fix this. Please HELP

Time to get the Owner's Manual and look in the section on "Troubleshooting". If that doesn't help take the camera to the store where you bought it and ask them. If they can't help then call the 800 number for Customer Service.

Ask your daughter if she dropped the camera. If she did then you'll have to pay for any repairs since no warranty covers abuse.

sorry to say, it is time to take it in for repair! I hope that you have a current warranty for it! the warranty has to be less then 30 days old to be current, if it is older then that, the warranty is voided! and you will have to pay out of pocket. this will not be a cheep fix!!

Thank You,

Bob
