reckless driving?in reference to an accident their car was involved in.the person being charged was not driving.

Yes, the police can call you at midnight. Nothing says they can't. The state will have to prove the person was driving the car.

I have not heard of a phone call to advise someone of charges being filed. Call the Trooper barracks and ask if this call was actually from them. Usually you are notified by mail or an "in person" visit.

If someone can ID who the driver was and it was you. Best bet is to call the trooper and tell them who was driving the car.

yes, unfortunately they can do pretty much what ever they want to... This needs to be addressed.
