It depends on what degree of jealousy you are talking about. If you have to explain every detail of where you go and who you talk to and what you are doing, that's insecurity. Jealousy can be an ugly monster. Love and trust and respect should all go hand in hand.

It depends on the degree of jealousy. If its slight, then I'd say yes. If its over bearing jealousy, then no, that person just has issues!

i can rather say that jealousy is a sign that someone LIKES you... but i can't say that the person totally loves you just by jealousy.....
but if the person is hurt as if he/she is being killed deeply alive in to whatever kind of stuff, that i can say the person is in love.....

I wouldn't say love just yet because love is way different from jealousy, but I'll say someone that likes you a lot.

you know, i was just thinking about people being jealous the other day because my brother and his gf fight a lot because of jealousy. to me, i think a person gets jealous when they are scared or are trying to hide something. for instance, my brother gets jealous of his gf going out and partying because other guys are there. i think he gets jealous because he knows she can cheat on him...he's done it to her and she knows it. however, jealousy can also show that you really care about someone. but when someone else is checking your guy/girl out don't get jealous...be happy that you have a hot bf/gf because your the one with him. all the guys/girls can do is look.
i really don't know though because i haven't been in a situation to be jealous. these are just my opinions.

In a way, yes. The definition is: A feeling of grudging admiration and desire to have something that is possessed by another.
Having that said, if they where the ones that had the person they had the possessions of the person they were jealous, then they would love it.

IDK. I once described to a crush how a shoe salesman had handled my feet when trying on new shoes after being badly burned on the foot, my crush got really irrate and ranted and raved about the shoe salesman, which was really funny, but made me feel that he noticed someone elses attention. In this case I don't think it was love, but it sure was interesting!
