Dont worry, material things mean nothing to me. Besides, I have to be at work on Friday and you never told me you were coming that day. Besides, meeting you, in it of itself, was the best gift I could have gotten.

Bad spelling.
No te preocupes que a mi las cosas materiales no me interesan. Ademas yo voy a trabajar el viernes y tu no me habias dicho que vendrias. Ademas el mejor regalo es haberte conocido.

Don't worry, I'm not interested in material things. Also, I'm going to work on Friday and you did not told me you 're going to come. Also, the best gift is knowing you.

There are some grammatical mistakes in your paragraph, but it means: "Don't worry that material things don't interest me. So I'm going to work on Friday and you told me that you would come. Moreover, the best gift is to have known you."

Elaine P's translation is correct except for an inadvertent (I am sure) slip. It say " ...you have NOT told me that you would be coming...".
