Of course it is their own right to believe whatever they want, but when it starts to become harmful to others, it's worth addressing!

1. “Thou shall not suffer a witch to live”. I’m sure Christians are very familiar with this verse, and could hardly ignore how many women were victimized as a result of this verse!
2. Slavery! Need I explain further?
3. The KKK!
4. Christianity hinders intellectual development greatly! Children are thought from a very young age to ignore logical thinking and live in a delusional world! Take for instance Galileo, and one can only imagine how many “Galileo’s” were oppressed by the church!
5. Harmful superstition that leads to failure to seek proper medical help! Instead of letting doctors take care of illnesses, Christians think that the devil has possessed them and fail to seek proper medical attention! Exorcism! Need I explain further?

6. One would think that the prejudice and discrimination Christians imposed on the human race was only a thing of the past. But don’t be deceived! In the very same way they believed in verses like this, “Thou shall not suffer a witch to live”, they equally believe in, “Homosexuality is an abomination to God”. This proves that Christians indeed do not learn from their past! Need I mention how many innocent people have had to suffer and even committed suicide due to Christians’ falsified superstition about homosexuality?
7. I don’t want to get pessimistic, but on one fine day a priest might decide to claim that God has given him a direct order for Christians to murder every first born child! And with the Christian’s inability to see beyond their delusion, the chance is very high that they’ll do exactly what their priest tells them to do!

The benefits FAR outweight the drawbacks.........

and the KKK?

Speaking of "intellectual Developmental Hinderance"

GO read some real facts, my friend.
KKK is not Christianity, even though some of them may claim to be. They aren't

And witches & slavery?
Things were done Hundreds of years ago in the name of religion , That doesn't make them relious acts.

As I said

Read a book...........with facts

It is harmful when someone makes foolish statements without knowing the facts.

1. Not in the New Testament. I cannot find this verse in the Scriptures. Not saying it isn't there, but it was most likely part of the Mosaic law. Christians are under grace, not law. We are not bound by the Mosaic law.

2. Christians were in the fore front to end slavery in Europe and America. Ever here of William Rutherford? Slavery in Biblical times was different than what have come to know it as.

3. Not Christians

4. Umm, were you aware that the Ivy League colleges were started by Calvinist Christians? And, Galileo was a Christian, he was opposed by the catholic church.

5. Not true.

the churches have a murderous path to power... even today there is the same mentality and many who preach LOVE would in a minute murder if the laws of the land would not forbid it... witches, heretics what were they then, nothing more than humans with healthy spirit.. the kind that works with nature... take a look around NATURE heals itself... animals, trees, plants, birds bugs nature heals itself... what is the true cost to us when we are blocked by religion, nature looses contact with our bodies and can't heal us along with it... that is why we have so much illness and pain.. What did we gain from it? Religion is a form of slavery nothing more....Was it worth it?
Is it worth it?

Whatever you perceive to be harmful about Christians pales in comparison to the harm you will suffer on Judgement Day without Him.

Jesus Christ is perfect. His followers - including me - are not.

I am a college graduate, a CPA, a 152 IQ - and came to believe in Christianity because nothing else made any sense to me. Your argument about "hindering intellectual development" is faulty.

Hey WildEagle, those are some of the lamest points anybody has ever made. You had to go back centuries to find that hogwash. Slavery??? That's always been around. KKK? Everybody knows they are fools. Hinder intellectual development? LOL....If you want to complain, at least get know what you're talking about. Most of the anti-christs in here at least have their arguments in order...unlike you.

No, you can be at fault for homosexuality. Doesn't bother me.

I guess you could call me christian as I believe the bible but remember not all calling themselves christian are truly christian.
That said I think you are starting to show your own intolerance against people who don't agree with your life style.
Do you really thing that a follower of the bible would approve of slavery or the KKK. You are forgetting all the Christians that opposed them.
