If it's small enough, lay it on your forehead while you lie down and meditate on the sort of partner you want. Be sure to focus more on what character traits you want than on what physical beauty you want. When the crystal no longer feels cool to you, it is fully charged.

If it is too large to lay on your forehead, do the same thing with it balanced on your chest. Of course, you will need to be naked at least to the waist for this to work. Through clothing will not work at all.

P.S. Diane is right: rose quartz would be more effective. Also a good bit more expensive.

Put it in the sun for a day to clear it or burn some sage and pass it through the smoke.

Then put it on a pink cloth or surface with a little rose quartz if you can get it, and a pink candle. Burn the candle for an hour or so and if you like, write your desire for love on a slip of paper and slide it under the crystal. Then concentrate on your desire to attract love, every day. Keep your eyes open.

You can't attract the love of a specific person because you can't control their heart, but you can "put it out there" to the Universe that you're looking for love.

p.s. prior to charging keep it in your hand under a stream of cold water....
