Look at Satan as a good example. Or Hitler.

pretty circular argument you're holding onto...

Lets see...man will make bad decision with free will, so therefore, don't let him have free will.

God does not allow free will, the next argument would be, now God is forcing everyone to be good.

Some folks just don't want to have it either way.

God's second greatest act of love was to allow us to have free will, fully knowing some would still reject Him.

First is His Son...which led to the sacrifice on the cross.

Free will, means just that, you they whoever can change your mind. That is up to you. Why does God give people test? for the same reason a coach, or teacher or loving parent will, because they know there is something better in us, the we cant see, but if giving a push will come out. Look at it like this, why does a beam of sunlight coming through a window, the same light hits a candle and the wax becomes soft an pliable. That same ray of sun lands on a lump of clay and it becomes hard, brittle unshapable. The same light having to completely different effects.

Well... That's a hard question. You can't say it about Satan, cause it's not a particular person. And you've never known Hitler himself. But about people in general... We can't make all the right choices because we're imperfect by nature. But we can make bad choices and learn something so that next time we are aware of what can happen. If people were perfect, it wouldn't make sense in religion cause then everyone could be a god.

Think of free will as ability to have fellowship with God, and Satan didn't have any. Mankind has not had any since the fall of Adam. You can't claim yourself as any more worthy of Heaven than Hitler, so don't even try to compare yourself. The disciples tried that amongst themselves, and they were put in their place by Jesus.

Allah(the true GOD)(swt) has created beings that are endowed with ‘freewill’. These beings are the Jinn and Humans. Humans are labeled as ‘Ashraf-ul-Makhlooqat’ i.e. ‘best of all creation’. If this ‘freewill’ were to be subtracted from the system then there would not be much difference between man and angels. Angels, another creation of The Almighty, do not possess ‘freewill’ and follow Allah’s command in verbatim without having an option to comply or deny. We have been blessed with this option where we can use our knowledge and intellect to react to different scenarios.

Allah(swt) without a doubt has Power over all things (Quran 5:40). He(saw) created everything that has been created and His(saw) knowledge is Absolute. When we talk about Allah’s will we mean two things:

Everything that happens is known by Allah(swt)
Everything that happens is by His permission
Knowledge does not contradict with the actions taken by freewill and neither does permission. To explain this further, Allah(swt) has knowledge of what humans will do and Allah(swt) has given them permission to do what they will. This is where freewill comes into play.

Man has been given guidance via prophets and it has been made clear to them what is good and what is wrong. With guidance, man has been blessed with the choice to do good or bad. Allah(swt) has given man guidance and the permission to do as he pleases thus only man is responsible for his action.

Allowing a person to do something after he has been given guidance and the sense to distinguish between right and wrong does not mean the one giving the permission is responsible. This is the entire concept of freewill. We have been given the choice and permission to comply or deny and thus we are responsible for our actions. Truly Allah(swt) is the “justest of Judges” (Quran 11:45)

I hate it when people explain that "He is just testing us." What ... is their God a lab researcher? Is Earth just a giant, elaborate maze and all He does all day is create situations to see how we will react? If that were anyone else but "God," everybody would tell him to "Get a freakin' life!"

Dontcha think an almighty god would have better things to do than stand around in a white coat holding a clipboard, watching US?

Freedom of Choice

[33:72] We have offered the responsibility (freedom of choice) to the heavens and the earth, and the mountains, but they refused to bear it, and were afraid of it. But the human being accepted it; he was transgressing, ignorant.

[33:73] For GOD will inevitably punish the hypocrite men and the hypocrite women, and the idol worshipping men and the idol worshipping women. GOD redeems the believing men and the believing women. GOD is Forgiver, Most Merciful.

*33:72 The animals, trees, stars, etc. took advantage of this most gracious offer. See Appendix 7."

I can't show all I've seen here in the Bible. Even thought God knows what will happen. Even he gives us choices to affect the ouctcome to a degree.

Just another example of human convoluted thinking. For religious people, however, this is known as a "mystery." It's certainly a mystery to me!
