If you get regected by a co worker when you ask them out how do you approach them if you need their help on a work project and can your social life with them ever recover if their still acting like their in 7th grade and ignoring you?

Maybe you can ask your co-worker to talk about the incident and explain to them how you feel and that you don't want what happened between the two of you to interfere with your work relationship. Work is work. If you can't seem to work things out, then maybe the next step is to talk to your supervisor and let them know how you feel about working together and they can probably have you both still be able to work on the project, but on different parts of the project without having to feel uncomfortable. That way you are still able to get the job done.

Just act very casually around them, as if nothing ever happened. When you approach her for help, just casually say "Hi, how are you today. I hope I am not bothering you, but I could use some assistance with this project, if you don't mind.

ur an idiot for trying to make a move on you co worker srry. dude just approach her/ him like nothing happened stop being afraid and worried.. trust me act like it was just nothing, a fart in the wind. be yourself they have no choice. on night you may be working together at your place on a bed project and studying the sheets who knows... but if they ignore you their dumb, but you learned a valuable lesson stay away from co workers

Obviously your choice of a mate was for a childish one. Just be a smart ass to her and let her know for sure that it doesn't bother you being rejected and you are a bigger person for trying to still get along.

just have to that person and tell them that you except the fact that its not going to happen but if you want to come out like the bigger person then act like nothing happened at all that will leave the other person confused
