It's easy to maintain a moral high ground if one claims victim status. Simpler to maintain a 'righteous indignity"

Absolutely no suggestion how to help, as every successful happy contented non-Christian is considered a threat to the more Fundamentalist Xian who plays the persecuted card.

Well, Paul wrote: "If anyone lives a godly life with Christ Jesus, he will suffer persecution." So if we are not persecuted, we aren't living that godly life... so looking for and finding persecution is a way of validating our spiritual state.... which is a rather wacko way of approaching things, isn't it??

god bless

no way. Christians take a stand and take action. Christ took persecution for a specific reason. However Christians are ordered to stand up and say/do what's right... or at least die trying.

I'm terribly sorry but you have been misled or are merely filled with hatred of that which you do not understand. Christians feel no need to be persecuted. We are children of God, and if persecution comes, we know who are our Father is and that he will deliver us from turmoil. Who is your father?
