My son vomits as soon as he tastes the liquid form and I was wondering when he will be old enough for tablets. He will be 3 in December.

If he will take tablets better, ask the doctor for a prescription of tablets instead of liquid . Good Luck!

As long as the child can swallow a tablet as a whole, it can be given at any age. However, the child may be able to swallow such tablet but if he refuses and takes it by force, the risk of choking is possible so be careful.

Try fruit-flavored (strawberry or banana flavored fo example) antibiotics and see how it goes.

Are you sure you want to give your child something that in a liquid form his body would reject?
