It sounds like relics but the 'e' is pronouced very softly. (English is not my first language so I may be off.)
Anyway, it's a shiny , silver fabric. Anyone has any ideas what it might be? Thanks.

the only thing that comes to my mind when you describe it as being silver maybe it is "metallic" and probably made from silk
They use the word "metallic" for color like silver, gold, copper, etc... hope it's the right one.

Damask.It's pretty.It's embossed onto itself and it's shiny with matte and often has metallic threads in it.You can make curtains,drapes,bedspreads or tablecloths from it.Also you could make a suit or even a blouse-or,of course,buy readymade.
