"The fear of God is not the beginning of wisdom. The fear of God is the death of wisdom. Skepticism and doubt lead to study and investigation, and investigation is the beginning of wisdom. The modern world is the child of doubt and inquiry, as the ancient world was the child of fear and faith."

Fear of God is the beginning of wisdom as per bible.

Fear of God means fear to do wrong things. it is not preventing one from learning or research. It is preventing one from doing evil knowingly.

Daily living itself need faith. If you do not have faith in the transport you will not move out of the house or have any food outside of your house. All these faith for day-today living

For earthly living and heavenly living also you need faith in a strong foundation. if you have strong foundation the application and creativity follows.

Unless you taste something how can you say it is good or bad in the long run. The Bible will give you strong foundation for earthly living and heavenly living You have to taste and see.

That verse is often misinterpreted. What it really means is we should fear the wrath of God if we disobey him.

Jesus said, "You shall worship the Lord your God and him only shall you serve" (Mt 4:10). God recalls his liberating action, "I brought you out of the land of Egypt." Then, he says, "You shall fear the Lord your God, you shall serve him. You shall not go after other gods" (Ex 20:2-5). God demands that man accept him totally and worship him.

God does not want you out of fear, he wants you out of LOVE. This is why we have "free will." God is a Loving God, not someone to fear.

If you do not fear god, god is not gonna get his angles down to bash you blue. To be 'wise' is to know more beyond the safe comfort of your computer screen , agnostic wisdom doesnt get you far as you can see.
