If you take into account that god created adam, and god did not create eve until adam said he was loneley, that means he never originally had a sexual attraction to women and thus reproduced asexually, in other words he could himself pregnant meaning adam was gay.

Forgot to add: What do you think of that?
For the record, this is not a homophobic question. It is simply a question for homophobic christians.

i think it's interesting that god didnt plan eve out... if adam didnt become lonely, it's possible that eve would never be "created" at all.

Dear tanjo22,
You're only half right. It is true that prior to Eve- Adam did not have a sexual attraction to women since there weren't any women around.
However, where in the world are you getting the idea that he reproduced asexually??? Obviously this holds no validity- because why wouldn't he have "reproduced already" or why are there no remaining human beings that reproduce asexually.
Secondly, albeit a little strange- i don't think we have a classification for people who are sexually attracted to themselves but if we did- i don't think we'd say they were "gay." The Bible never gives us any indication whether Adam was sexually attracted to himself as you are suggesting based on pure speculation and conjecture.
Thirdly, the Bible does not say that Adam told God that he was lonely- thus you are writing words and trying to express feelings for Adam that the Bible never records. God says it is not good for man to be alone, so i will make him a helper.
God knew Adam's needs and provided for him. And what God provided Adam was Eve (not Steve). The Bible teaches what it teaches and everyone has a right to agree or disagree with it- but you're really trying to twist what the Bible really says and it's an unwise and deceitful thing to do.

Speaking of technicalities...
How exactly would Adam be gay as an asexual being, and have been able to reproduce asexually?
Being asexual literally means having no sexual attraction or sexual intercourse of any kind in this type of reproduction process.
So, technically...if he were an asexually reproducing being, he wouldn't be gay - he'd have no sexual orientation or interest of it whatsoever.
If he were gay...the human species (according to the bible) wouldn't be here today, since we know Adam and Eve populated the earth through sexual reproduction.

It didnt stated exactly how long did Eve created from Adam, maybe it only 1 day, or 7 days.
We cannot jugde Adam as a gay with this situation.

Actually when he was first created, just like God Himself, Adam had both male and female qualities. Not genitalia, but qualities. And when God took Eve from within Adam, He separated those qualities into what we call now call "male" and "female" qualities. And God puts them all back together spiritually and physically in a marriage and when a couple has children and become ONE FLESH.
God is wonderful like that!
Gen 2:24 Therefore shall a man leave his father and his mother, and shall cleave unto his wife: and they shall be one flesh.
P.S. You didnt understand a single word of that did you?

That's some twisted reasoning you've got there.Gay is being attracted to the same gender.Seeing as there was no other male,Adam could not have been gay.
And besides,Adam having children with Eve definitively puts that theory to rest.

Let me ask you this question. Suppose Adam was originally gay. Then why did God create Eve?!

Assuming Genesis is true Adam didn't reproduce until he and Eve got booted from the garden. Try reading the first few chapters of Genesis. They're quite short and quick.

That's the dumbest thing I've ever heard of. No Adam wasn't homosexual. Eve was created to be his helper, mate. Only AFTER Eve was created. Adam didn't have children by himself. Maybe if Atheists would actually do some READING of the Bible every now and then instead of coming up w/stupid questions and answers in a RELIGIOUS section of Y!A - maybe they would know these things.

God never told Adam to "Be fruitful and multiply" without Eve around. So Adam, to the best of our knowledge, never reproduced without Eve.
We do know that Adam had at least seven children with Eve--Cain, Abel, Seth, and other sons (plural=minimum 2) & daughters (plural=minimum 2).

This exhibits a worry-loose author of Adam and Eve (Jesus) by way of using actuality the two have the 'X' chromosome. i've got have been given faith that God made women people waiting to reproduce life and not adult males, this is why the female will continuously have double X chromosomes and not XY. in case you p.c.. to assessment extra approximately God look at my factors.
